“The  Dream Makers Program" from PenFed Foundation.




Service members and veterans of all branches of the military are eligible to apply. 
This  includes all active duty as well as Guard and Reserve members ... even widows of service members are eligible.

You must be a first-time home buyer, or have not owned a home for the last three years. 
In some cases, those who have lost their homes through divorce or disaster may also still qualify.

Traffic may not be a big issue  to Fort Belvoir, but traffic around Prince William County is normally very challenging at anytime during the day.

Military Housing and Real Estate Grants To Help Military Families Buy Homes

Allow us to introduce you to this  new program that offers financial assistance to first-time home buyers who are veterans or active-duty military members. The Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation  is a nonprofit national organization that offers assistance to Military families  through its Dream Makers program.


Active duty personnel, veterans, retired members of the military, and employees of the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security could  be eligible for a grant up to $5,000 to use on down payments and/or  closing costs when buying their first home.

The grants can be applied to a mortgage from any financial institution with any VA Loan
